| Findings: The provider left the home for approximately 15 minutes to take something to school for her child. The school is within walking distance to the home. While the provider was gone, there were two aides present with 7 children. Because the provider was not present and the aides are not yet large family child care teacher qualified, one of the aides should have been recorded as a substitute in the provider's absence. The substitute record was completed while LS was present. | |||

| Findings: The provider was not present when the LS arrived, but she arrived back at the home approximately 10 minutes later. The provider stated she had walked to the school just down the street to take something her child needed. While the provider was gone, there were two aides present with 7 children. Because the provider was not present and the aides are not yet large family child care teacher qualified, one of the aides should have been acting and recorded as a substitute in the provider's absence. This was corrected while the LS was present when the provider arrived back at the home. | |||

| Findings: The LFCCH provider was not present at the home with LS arrived. Two aides were present, one of whom was acting as a substitute for the provider. Neither of the aides had 1st Aid and CPR cards on file during the inspection today. One aide stated she has current 1st Aid and CPR for her other job, but there is not a copy of her card present at the home today. The provider returned to the home while the LS was present, so this was corrected during the inspection. Provider and the two aides are scheduled to complete a 1st Aid and CPR class with Lori Roper in the near future. Provider stated she will not leave the home until at least one of the aides has completed 1st Aid and CPR or can provide the provider with a copy of current cards. | |||

| Findings: The provider was not present in the home when the LS arrived for inspection. Neither of the aides who were present have medication training. This was corrected when the provider arrived back at the home approximately 10 minutes after LS arrived. The provider scheduled a medication administration training with an approved trainer for the two aides while LS was present. Once the aides complete the training, please send copies of certificates to LS. | |||
