| Findings: Supervision Concerns. There were concerns that a child had fallen from a high chair due to a lack of supervision. The health department and law enforcement performed investigations and determined the provider was not actively supervising the children, which allowed a child to fall from a high chair. Resolution: The provider who was supervising the classroom at the time of the incident ended their employment with the child care facility. The provider was within ratios and no other concerns were noted during the investigation. IdahoSTARS contacted the provider to provide support, they will be adjusting their practices and all staff will be taking Active Supervision training. | |||
