Findings: During an inspection of the downstairs bathroom that the children use, dog feces was observed on the floor. When this was brought to the attention of the Providers, one of them immediately cleaned it up. The family has a new puppy who had been in the child care area while this Licensing Specialist was on-site. The Providers suspect that it happened at that time. Regulation reviewed with Providers. This non-compliance is now corrected since the Provider immediately cleaned up the dog feces.

Findings: During the inspection, the floor temperature was only 60 degrees F. When this was brought to the attention of the Providers, the overall home's thermostat was turned up to heat the home. By the end of the inspection, the room's floor temperature had reached 65 degrees F. Therefore, this non-compliance was corrected on-site. Please ensure that the room's floor temperature is no less than 65 degree F at all times.
