Theodore, my only son, is a proud New Era graduate. After attending New Era, he graduated from Mt Royal, Poly and then from Morgan University, with an engineering degree. He is currently self-employed in his elected field. I salute New Era for laying a strong foundation which has assisted my son in becoming an intelligent, mature and productive individual.

When I fist enrolled my children at New Era, I was under the impression that this was an excellent facility. However, after a year of my children being there, I quickly became dissatisfied with several things. One, they kept raising the tuition. Every other month. For whatever reason, their enrollment numbers started to going down, so to make up the difference they started raising tuition for the remaining kids at the facility.
2, they advertise that breakfast lunch and a snack will be provided. Whenever I would ask my children what they ate for lunch, the response was the same, rice, beans crackers and salad. (This info came from m very intelligent 6 year old). I was under the impression that balance meals would be provided for children. If the center cannot afford to feed the children well balanced meals, they should make it a requirement that kids bring their lunches. I also did a little research and found out that they had failed inspections in regard to how they were storing food, their staff not being certified. Even the director who is constantly on parent's back about paying tuition has not completed her training. Also, they do not keep their accounting books straight. There were several incidences where I had to argue with the lady who does bookkeeping for the center who did not keep track of what was paid and what was owed. I finally had had enough and snatched my children out of their promptly.
