| Findings: During the Mandatory inspection the provider disclosed that her second cousin was staying in the shed which is in the provider’s backyard. The provider stated that her second cousin arrived at her home a week or two ago. The provider stated that he was supposed to stay for one day or a weekend to meet up with friends. The provider continued to monitor the front door during the Mandatory Inspection. The provider stated that she spoke with her second cousin's mother, to ask her to come and pick up her son. The cousin stated that she had just started a new job. LS explained to the provider that she should have reported the new resident to the Office of Childcare immediately. LS asked the provider, “Do your second cousin come into the house? The provider stated that her second cousin would use the neighborhood restaurant's bathroom. The provider pulled out her cell phone to call her cousin, during the Mandatory Inspection for LS to explain the situation to her cousin. LS explained to the provider and the provider's cousin, via cell phone that the cousin staying in the shed is considered a new resident of the daycare home. | |||
