| Findings: On this date a Mandatory Inspection was conducted with the Provider. The Provider notified the Office of Childcare that she closed her daycare due because she was getting the basement remodeled and that she was taking a little trip with her husband after the Licensing Specialist made two unannounced visits to the daycare home on March 9, 2022 and March 11, 2022. Licensing Specialist received a message on March 14, 2022 from the Provider that her daycare is closed until March 21, 2022. On March 24, 2022 the Mandatory Inspection was conducted and observed evidence of the provider caring for daycare children on the first level of the daycare with no access to a bathroom on the first level of the daycare home. The only bathroom in the daycare home is located in the basement of daycare home. The basement is the primary approved level to provide care for the children in care because the children has access to the bathroom on that level. Provider immediately called the parents to pick up the children in care after speaking with the Licensing Supervisor during the Mandatory Inspection. A follow up inspection is required before children can return to care. | |||
