If, as a parent, you believe that your child should experience all colds, a cough that disrupts normal activity, shortness of breath and wheezing, distracting pain from ear aches and sore throats, and skin rashes, look no further. GLEC is the place for you. My young son has been going there for about 6 months now, and last week had to undergo serious respiratory surgery. Prior to the surgery, he had more than ten doctor visits within this half-year period, compared to just one in the entire 2021! If you want your child always to have new bruises and scratches, take your child to GLEC. No one will report these bruises to CPS, no matter how serious they are. “I will ask my girls, but I am positive they did not notice anything”, said the principal to me after I asked about the obvious bruises. How uncaring can someone be? Some of them don't have any skills, have no previous daycare experience, and don't know how to work with children. They may put ugly stickers on your child’s hands and decorate their nails, believing this develops kids. My son is psychologically depressed and consistently in need of food and water every time when I pick him up from GLEC. In fact, he began to lose weight. Preschools and daycare programs are of great benefit to our society; unfortunately, GLEC employs less than competent people to run their programs. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Absolutely the best day care in the area!! My two children loves the day care and dreaming about to spend every summer in the Grow and Learn Summer Camp! Great teachers, delicious and varied menu. Director Svetlana is very lovely and always open to talk.
Grow and Learn became the second home for our kids!!! :)
My child went to Grow and learn daycare center for 4 years , we had an absolutely wonderful experience with this daycare, all teachers starting from y.t. group to kindergarten where professional, the food was healthy and nutritional, the owner is extremely polite, kind and dedicated person, was always there to help and answer all our questions. We are enrolling second child this summer.
It is really awful day care. Very mean and strict director Svetlana. If you planning to give child there change your mind.
My two children went to this day care. Its was a wonderful experience overall. both of my children are doing really good in school, and I know that's because of the day care. The director herself spent a lot of time with our kids, teaching them. The teachers are very friendly, always ready to help.My youngest is 13 month now , definitely going to Grow and Learn.
This is the best day care you will find in the NE area: healthy homestyle food, great facility, spotless clean, great people working. Regarding Svetlana(director): this person meets needs of every child and has been extremely nice for all these years that we've been with Grow'n'dLearn. Out first child graduated from there last year, and now we have our second child started.
Not a good care for kids. Would not reccomend this daycare. Had a very bad experience with them, very mean director Svetlana
I have my 2 kids at the day care. We like it very much. It has good personal, clean facility, nice wood area, cooker who makes real & healthy food, convinient business hours.
