I agree with the comment of rating this place 0 stars if possible. The positive comments must be from the ladies that work there or the owner. Do these kids learn? Yes. Are the getting screamed at on a daily basis? Yes. Are they treated as though they are one of their own? No!! Well actually the one lady does scream regularly and put her hand on her kids as well, so if you go by that, then yes. This place is under investigation again for a child being hurt while in their care. They tried to cover it up and this is not the first time. It's a shame that you think you're putting your child in a safe place but are told by your child that they are mean to them and don't let them eat more when they are hungry but that the woman eats in front of them. There is a lot that goes on and as stated above these ladies know how to put a show on for the parents. If you want your child to be abused mentally and physically, then covered up by the owner and employees, send them here.
If I could rate them a 0 I would. We loved it there until we found out that the only have their own best interest at heart not the kids in their care. The lack of communication with the parents about their children is disgusting. I after the experience I had I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!
I currently have 2 kids, 4.5 yrs and 2.5 yrs, enrolled at Tiny Tykes Academy and I could not be more pleased with their social and educational advancements. Each child started when they were 2 years old. My 2.5 year old can count to 15, spell his name, recognizes animals and the sounds they make, can decifer most colors and his speech skills have completely taken off and he's only been enrolled since November. My 4.5 yr old can write his first and last name, Knows colors, most letters and the sounds they make, can count to 40, recognizes the numbers and can do 3 number single digit addition!!! I've never encountered an issue with the teachers in the 2.5 yrs I've been involved. Ciriculum is set up in 1 week increments which allows the kids the repetition to thoroughly learn what they are being taught and not just memorize it. I review what they learned with them on a daily basis and compare what they say to what their daily report I receive from the teachers and most days they are spot on! They also do great event through the year. Fire departments have visited, they have brought in a petting zoo which was great because kids didn't even have to leave the school and each year they have the kids perform a Christmas show! As a parent I really enjoyed the one on one parent conferences where I was able to meet with each of their teachers and find exactly where each is excelling and where we could spend a little more time emphasizing! I couldn't be more pleased with not only my kids development but the daily environment! Would absolutely recommend!
I do not agree with the above review. My children have been attending Tiny Tykes for 3 years now and I as well as my children LOVE it there. They have learned so much and bring home creative crafts everyday. The teachers are wonderful with the children and care for my children as if they are their own. I highly recommend TinyTykes to my fellow moms out there! It would be a shame if you missed out on this place because of one review.
Tiny Tykes is not the place for quality child care. There are plenty other great choices I'm the area. Please choose one of those. Unless you want your child getting yelled at everyday and being ignored. I could go on but I won't. I caught it on accident one day and glad that I did. I them asked my child and she told me. Normally, I'd think that she were fibbing because the "teachers" are great actresses. Do your research. These girls don't do continued education etc as their website says. Like I said, please choose another daycare. Good luck all and if your child isn't too afraid to tell what going on, believe them. They aren't fibbing!
