Regulation: 3270.14/3270.21 Description: Pertinent Laws & Regulations/General Health and Safety Noncompliance Area: There was a bottle of Clean by Peroxy and one bottle of HALT cleaner on top of the window frame in the cafeteria labeled "keep out of reach of children" accessible to children. Cleaning and other toxic materials shall be kept in an area or container that is locked or made inaccessible to children per Announcement C-24-02.. There was a blue bin on top of the window frame that contained 3 screw drivers, a pair of adjustable pliers and a sharp yellow tool. Correction Required: A facility shall be operated in conformity with applicable Federal and State laws and regulations.State agencies whose regulations may relate to the operation of a facility include the Department of Environmental Resources, the Department of Labor and Industry, the Department of Health, the Department of Education and the Department of Transportation. Conditions at the facility may not pose a threat to the health or safety of the children. |

These cleaning supplies and tools belong to the school district and are stored in the cafeteria by the district to clean tables at lunch. We will place these supplies in our own locked storage container while we are in the cafeteria. |
