Description: Because of the widening disconnection between children and nature, founders Jeremy Belot and his wife Kelly Aubin Belot felt compelled to do what they could for their own children and their neighborhood. The vision for Tiny Green Trees grew from this belief. Together they wanted to find a way to grow environmentally conscious children by connecting them to their natural environment through creative play and exploratory activities.
To manifest this vision, Kelly and her husband Jeremy purchased a dilapidated bar just a block away from their home, gutted it completely and have renovated it into a beautiful, sun-filled center for young children. The backyard has been transformed into a natural playscape. Through their incredible amount of hard work, financial investment and creativity, the community now has a vital resource in Tiny Green Trees, a center serving families who care about their children’s healthy growth and development in relationship to nature and the environment.
