| Findings: Supervision/Ratio. During the time of investigation, proper supervision was not used as children were using the restroom not accompanied by adults. Children were also released into an empty room where there was no teacher available to accompany them back to the classroom. The child-staff ratio also did not meet standards. Resolution: The provider has created an action plan which is signed by all staff stating that it is the teacher's responsibility to assist in covering classrooms for teachers when they needed assistance. Walkie Talkies have been purchased to assist in communication. Gloves will always be worn by all staff members during food handling process. All teachers are responsible for the safety of all kids. Staff will never leave a child unattended anywhere on the premises. If a child is left alone action plan states teacher will be in jeopardy of job termination. | |||
