| Findings: A complaint inspection conducted this date. On November 4, 2019, the director stated that a staff member hit a three year old child in Room 3 on October 30, 2019. However during the complaint inspection the director stated that after watching the video the teacher had hit three children and the teacher was terminated on October 30, 2019. The teacher hit the children on the arm and on the bottom. Licensing Specialist asked to view the video and the director stated that she did not save the recording of the teacher hitting the children. The director stated that the teacher admitted to hitting the children and didn't feel that the video was needed. Office of Childcare received the emergency forms for all children involved. Each staff member received and acknowledged a no hitting policy and a review of the center's discipline policy. Office of Childcare is requesting a termination letter for the teacher and a incident report to observed that the parents was notified of the incident in writing. | Findings: A complaint inspection was conducted this date. During a Staff Meeting two children in Room 2 were touching each other while the Staff were having a Staff meeting. All staff members were sitting in the doorway of their classrooms in attendance of the Staff meeting. A staff member stated she was sitting inside of the doorway of the classroom door and she could see something happening between two children in the classroom. She stated she saw the two children touching each other in the chest area. The staff meeting stated she immediately went over to the two children. Director was notified immediately, the children's parents notified of the incident and the Director notified the Office of Child Care of the incident. | |||
