Initial Comments: Based on the Surveyors' observations of 3 playgrounds, the following was observed: South School-age playground lacked: * 5.5. inch of the required resilient surfacing (wood chips) in the fall zones of the structure with the long slide. * The wood chips were compacted in the fall zones of the round cyclone with the blue seat. * 4 of the required 6 inches of wood chips in the fall zones of the blue twister. * 3 of the required 6 inches of wood chips in the fall zones of the blue twist slide. * 2 of the required 6 inches of wood chips in the fall zones of 7 swings. East playground lacked: * 5 of the required 6 inches of wood chips in the fall zones of the double slide. * 4 of the required 6 inches of wood chips in the fall zones of the single slide. * 3 of the required 6 inches of wood chips in the fall zones of the red monkey bars. * 4 of the required 6 inches of wood chips in the fall zones of 6 swings. * 5.5 of the required 6 inches of sand in the fall zones of 10 swings, and the sand was hard-packed.
