Mt. Lebanon Extended Day Program (MLEDP) has seven school locations and one all day summer site which meet the educational and safety standards, and accredited staff licensing requirements of the state of Pennsylvania.

Our staff provides educational assistance according to the Department of Public Welfare (DPW) Child Care Licensing Regulations to children in grades K-5 on a daily basis.

Guided activities encompass use of math, reading, social studies, science and language arts skills along with socialization skills, indoor and outdoor play. Our staff members plan educational activities using the Kolb Experiential Learning model.

The question regarding examination of communicable disease was incorrectly checked "yes". The Dr. changed to the correct answer of "no" but did not initial the change. We have attempted to get a letter from the clinic stating the question was answered incorrectly. The clinic is now under new ownership and the Dr. no longer works there. Staff person #1 has given permission for the current clinic to request the health record verifying she was seen on the date listed (8/2024). We are also attempting to get a letter from the clinic stating they are under new ownership and the Dr. is no longer employed. This documentation is in progress.
