| Findings: Report received that provider was using a slide that had a little pool area at the bottom. Children were seen in the pictures dumping water on their heads in this area. Visit made to day care home. Slide was laying flat in the front yard and the three hoses that are to attach to the slide were not attached. As several pictures show the three hoses are used as sprinklers that the children run through. The hoses are not used attached to the pool as the instructions indicate as per provider" they cause the pool to fill up". Provider showed licensing specialist pictures with children in the pool area with no water. The children are allowed wet sponges and buckets. The provider and her substitute stand on the edges and drain water when it starts to accumulate. Provider's substitute is a certified lifeguard The slide is only out if substitute is present. Provider was going to put small holes in the bottom of the pool however she has a nephew who uses it on the weekends and they let him use the hoses as they are suppose to be used. | |||
