The indoor and/or outdoor premises was not checked once a day, prior to initial use, ensuring debris, and broken equipment was removed and disposed of. During the walkthrough of the outdoor learning environment, I observed 2 storage bins that were full of molded rotted toys at the bottom of the stairs, along with 1 black storage bin full of water.

A violation was found for which there is no item number. During the walkthrough of the center, I noticed that there was an unlocked door in space #1 near the cozy corner, that leads to space #2. Space #2 leads to the kitchen, and during today's visit, the kitchen door was wide open/ not locked/ accessible to chidlren.

All walls and ceilings including doors and windows were not kept clean and in good repair. Today in space #1, I observed peeling paint in above the book area. I also observed the vinyl wall base peeling ( near the door to the outdoor learning environment).

A safe indoor and outdoor environment was not provided for the children. During todays visit, we monitored the outdoor learning environment. We observed a broken drying rack and two wooden bookshelves on the patio area, that were covered in mold. On the patio; we observed a mop bucket with a mop behind it, the mop was sitting on top of a pile of dirt and leaves. We also observed a dry erase board with a wooden frame, the wooden frame was covered with mold. To the left of the patio, we observed debris and trash. We observed an outdoor housekeeping area; a table two chairs and a kitchen set that had some debris on it. Next to the kitchen set, we observed large foam puzzle pieces with debris on them. We observed debris on top of the play structure on the outdoor learning environment. We also observed a basketball hoop that had some rust at the top, and it was not sturdy.

Each child was not attended to in a nurturing and appropriate manner, or in keeping with the child's developmental needs. During today's visit, we heard a teachers telling children to 'cut it out', 'mind your beezwax', 'No, stop that right now, I said to line up' and ' Did I say it was time to go to the cubbies? Come back.'
