Findings: Licensing specialist observed video footage where the floating teacher grabbed two children by their arms. The floating teacher was heard using harsh language directed at the child who drew on a chair. The child started resisting and ended up hitting the teacher. The floating teacher then proceeded to take the child to the office while continuing to hold on to their arm. The owner examined the child shortly after they returned to the classroom. There were no signs of physical injury and the child did not seem to be in any emotional distress. The floating teacher was removed from the classroom and would end up resigning from their position at the center. The facility submitted a report to the OCC as well as another agency.
