Findings: Licensing Specialist observed several cracked pieces of plastic on the large castle equipment. These cracked and broken pieces are jagged and some are sharp and could cut a child or be otherwise potentially hazardous. There is also a plastic dome piece that is broken that should be replaced. The owner was present at the center today and she stated she has reached out to the playground equipment company regarding the broken dome. Please repair the cracked and broken plastic and replace the plastic dome piece. Once repaired and replaced, please send photos to LS. Licensing Specialist observed new and abundant mulch and all new swings on the playground.

Findings: Center uses a catering service for lunch. The caterer delivered food in an insulated bag around 10:30am. Today's food delivery contained sliced hot turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans and pumpkin muffins. At approximately 12pm, LS took the temperature of the sliced hot turkey and it was not reading less than 140 degrees F. LS recommended taking the food temperature when the food is delivered to the center and putting the food in the oven on warm until it is time to serve it to keep the temperature at 140 degrees F or higher. All potentially hazardous hot foods should be kept at a temperature of at least 140 degrees F or above until it is time to be served. Please send a written plan of correction to LS.

Findings: The center did not have a fire drill logged in December 2020 and it appears the center has only been doing one disaster drill per year for the last few years. Center is reminded fire drills are to be practiced and recorded at least once per month and disaster drills should be practiced and recorded at least twice per year. Please send written plan of correction. *LS received written plan of correction the same day as inspection. Fire drills have been planned for November and December 2021 and a disaster drill has been planned for December 2021.
