About the Provider

Our most important goals are to help your child develop a postive self-image, respect for others, resourcefulness, and self-discipline. Our goals are realized by offering the children informal learning experience in the areas of music, art, math, science, social living, language arts, and outdoor play. We strive for a balance of teacher-directed activities and those selected by the children, within the framework of a weekly theme. At Annapolis Child Development Center, we believe each child is a unique individual. We strive to provide a loving, nurturing, and creative environment for children. We are sensitive to their social, emotional, intellectual, and physical needs. We provide developmentally appropriate programs that focus on the process of learning while also helping them to enjoy many other successful experiences. We encourage not just learning, but the love of learning. We believe in providing a physical environment that is safe, clean, healthy, and child friendly. Classrooms are arranged to offer challenging play and learning choices at a range of developmental levels. Learning centers allow children the opportunity to explore, to experience, and most importantly.... to succeed.
