I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I had two grandchildren (5 & 2) who attended AELC. They change 100's of diapers daily/weekly, there was never any odor issues. The facility is clean and the programs are very well structured. Both my granddaughters looked forward to going every day. The management and staff are over the top commendable. My family was there 3 years, and are not there now, only due to a relocation to Texas. The children not only had fun, they also learned. I am proud to have entrusted my grandchildren to them.

AELC is wonderful! My son started in Nov 2013 right before he turned 3 years old. I wish I had found this place sooner so he could have been there when he turned 2! In the DC metro area, it's near impossible to find quality daycare that the average person can actually afford. But AELC is just that...quality and affordable. The staff is caring, attentive and loving. The kids have a blast and they learn SO much. I am amazed that my 3 1/2 year old knows not only shapes, colors, letters and numbers - but months of the year, days of the week, and opposites. The kids get a good mix of playtime (inside and outside), learning/story time, and field trips. This really is a GREAT place. I have every intention of keeping my son there until he enters Kindergarten. Keep up the good work, AELC!

The previous comments are right on the money. This school is awesome! My daughter attended Apple Early from 2006-2009. She was taken care of my a close relative from birth until she was 2 and the staff made the transition for her and me EXTREMLY easy. My daughter did excellent in reading and math and still loves it. And I know I have that staff to thank. She was never in any other facility besides AELC. The staff was awesome, the director was great, and even the owner was present and the children knew him.
I now have two more toddlers and the only reason I didn't put them in AELC is because we now live in another county.
I just had to comment because you just don't get quality childcare like this. I would recommend this facility to any parent looking to place their toddler in childcare. They will learn and they will also be loved. :-)

The director is awesome. She definately gets the job done; and it flows down to her staff. Excellent! I can always depend on them to be open even through rough weather days. When we first came my daughter was 2. She is in the 4yr old class now and she will be graduating in June; I can't wait!!!!

My children attended this daycare center from 2001-2006.  During that time they were under different management.  The Director and teachers were fabulous!  I was able to work without fearing my children were being mistreated and my children were being nutured in a a fantastic environment.  When they left this center, they were completely ready for school.

Our program is designed to meet the developmental needs of young children. It provides experiences that enrich and enhance each child's cognitive, language, social, emotional, and creative development. Within the program's daily schedule, each child has opportunities to create, explore the environment, learn problem solving and personal interaction skills, and learn concepts through first-hand experiences. Children develop a positive self-concept through a balance of self and teacher directed activities. Opportunities for solitary play as well as group activities are provided. Staff serve as positive role-models, and provide care that is supportive, nurturing, warm, and responsive to each child's individual needs. We respect families as the primary and most important providers of care and nurturing, and we believe parents and teachers are partners in children's care and education.
