i love this daycare it is really good for kids it can be bad at times but at the end of the day it is cheap ( for me ) it should be a little cheaper though
For the most part Mrs. Shawn at the beginning was a real person or I thought she was. Staff members were good with each other until family members of the owner intervene the premises. What Mrs. Shawn is doing is firing the people that ain't family and replacing it with family. At some point I knew I was bound to get fired supposibly due to lack of performance but in reality was due to pregnancy and racial acts. In this day care I don't recommend any parent taking them due to lack of patience with staff and children. There us abuse and one can do so much to correct it. Paperwork being filed is in process. There is no communication, understanding, etc... I had an appointment set up for my tb test and a stat for the pregnancy and was told by Ayana (daughter of owner) to let the doctor know I won't be able to make it due to me needing to be at work. I was told I got fired due to not having my credentials, i had them all except the tb which I was stopped by the director to be able to attend the appointment. Director Ayana is rude with the staff and also low grades the employees as well as Shawn. The promise you a position and tare it right off your hands when they get a chance to. I feel so bad for the children they have no counsouler to talk with, they get their arms pinched, they get hit with pencils, yelled at, hit with toys and there is no action taken to stop the problem, no reports get made for the incidents that really happen. I would advise to revise the cameras every day and not by Shawn but by someone higher social worker. There is a lot of innapropriate things going on in this daycare, no one is doing anything to make it better. It's getting just like little world or worse. Anyone that ends up working here will end up leaving. You don't get paid when your suppose to and they don't pay you the right amount either. They request so much from you but them themselves don't have the credentials either. I'm in process of opening my own daycare to really help the community. Going to get my credentials for a child care facility is in process.
