The YMCA is the one of the largest providers of high quality, deliberately affordable school-age programs in Rockland County. Every day at our School Age Child Care (SACC) programs, we help hundreds of children reach their fullest potential in a welcoming, supportive environment. By incorporating the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility into all of our youth services programming, we give children the solid foundation they need to thrive—not only in school, but beyond.
Our office in Nyack serves as the headquarters for our before and after school care programs in the Nyack, Ramapo. South Orangetown, Clarkstown schools. These programs provide a well supervised engaging program. All sites are licensed by New York State. Our Montebello, Lakewood, Bardonia, Cherry Lane, Little Tor, Strawtown, William O. Schaefer, Haverstraw Middle School and Woodglen programs hold the distinction of being the only after school programs in Rockland County accredited by the National After School Association.
Registration is on a first-come first-served basis with priority given to children needing care five days a week. We offer many several schedule option to meet the needs of working and communting parents. You can register for 5-4-3 or 2 days a week. For those choosing the 4-3 or 2 day a week option specific days must be chosen.
