Black Parents Matter 2023-11-22 10:22:18
I have used this provider for less than 6 months

This is going to be a thorough review, so to all the minority parents (which may be few), please pay attention. I want to describe one of the worst situations that could ever happen to a parent and what this director, Angi, who started this school, is capable of. There is a difference between being supportive of children and going the extra mile to involve yourself in the parents' business of the school. Firstly, if you do not know who the director of this school is, her name is Angi. Angi is a former teacher from the Chandler district, along with 3-4 other teachers who are also at this school. This same group of teachers, who are all white ladies, are known for bullying and pushing away teachers who are not like them. This should be a red flag for parents because schools should be inclusive and diverse. This same group of teachers, led by the director, also bullied, were racist, and homophobic towards my own mother nearly a decade ago. I was a child when this was happening, and I remember my mom leaving and the situation like the back of my hand. Little did I know that years later, my daughter might suffer because of Angi. I, for one, have only met Angi and have spoken to her under 5 times, and I will leave it up to you to decide whether or not she has continued her ways. I was going through a horrific racist divorce where my ex-wife's family is known for using the N-word, belittling people of color, and being die-hard Trump supporters, which was part of the reason for our divorce. My daughter was attending preschool across the street at "Risen Savior," which is a wonderful school, and we never had any issues. I highly recommend them. I was not on board with moving my daughter to a new school, but my ex-wife had done so this July. My mom had warned me about where she was being placed and to be careful around Angi, as she was already scared of what she would do or if I acted in a way that she did not like, she would take it out on Kaia. Little did I know that my worst nightmare was about to come true. Angi went out of her way to tell my ex-wife that she was scared for the children at her daycare and made other horrible comments. Obviously, I am in a highly conflicted divorce during this time, and my ex-wife had gone back to court. I found out about the director's comments through a document submitted in court. When I read what she said, I called and left a voicemail. The director of this place then sent me and my ex-wife an email stating that I could no longer come to preschool and that she had called the police. I want to be clear that I never threatened or made anyone feel unsafe, but rather asked why she made these comments to my ex-wife without consulting me, and I also asked her what happened to my mom a decade ago. My mom had warned me about what this director would do. I have been unable to pick up my daughter for nearly 3-4 months as I am being forced to find someone else to get my daughter during my limited time. To summarize, I asked the director of the school about the racism my own mother experienced nearly a decade ago when they were teachers, and why she said I was a danger to the children. My daughter's previous daycare is right across the street, and we did not have any issues from February 2022 to July 2023. My daughter was there for a month, and I had only gone to pick her up three times until the point where I was banned. I also followed up with the Chandler Police Department, who said it's her right as a small business owner to not allow me, but I had not broken any laws. My advice to the public is to understand that this place is heavily influenced by Trump supporters. Your children may not be safe. I never threatened anyone, and this was an abuse of power. My mother warned me that she had the power to harm a child, and I am not sure why anyone would want to involve themselves with a school that puts their own beliefs over the child. I am currently working in my home state to recover this situation and thankful for my legal team. Minority parents or those going through situations.RUN.
