2025-08-01 Mandatory Review
Findings: No Noncompliances Found
2024-09-13 Mandatory Review 13A.15.05.05A Corrected
Findings: The provider has a deck that is off-limits to the childcare children. The access door to the deck has a childproof device in place to stop children from accessing the deck. There are two gates at the top of the deck stairs, one is wooden and the other is a retractable gate. There is a gate in place at the bottom of the deck stairs. There was not a secure barrier in place at the top of the deck stairs. The gates observed at the top of the deck stairs must be properly secured to prevent children from falling down the stairs. The provider is advised to repair the retractable gate or secure the wooden gate to ensure that the deck stairs are inaccessible to the children in care and submit evidence to the Licensing specialist. At the time of the inspection, there was no lock on the gate in the outdoor activity area. The gate in the outdoor activity area should remain locked at all times while children are in care due to the two bodies of water that are near the home, which creates a significant risk. Please submit evidence to the specialist of the lock being secured on the outdoor activity area gate.
2024-09-13 Mandatory Review 13A.15.05.05C Corrected
Findings: At the time of the inspection, there was no alarm/sensor on the access door (front door of the home). There must be an alarm/sensor on the front door that is operable at all times while childcare children are in care due to the two bodies of water that are near the home, which creates a significant risk. The provider is advised to place an alarm/sensor on the front door as soon as possible and submit evidence to the Licensing Specialist. Please ensure that there is extremely close supervision while childcare children are in care.
2024-09-13 Mandatory Review 13A.15.06.02B(1) Corrected
Findings: At the time of the inspection, there was no evidence that the provider completed the Basic Health and Safety annual update. Please complete the Basic Health and Safety annual update as soon as possible and submit evidence to the Licensing Specialist.
