Description: The Riverdale Community Center, Inc. (RCC) is a grass roots, multi-service agency founded in 1972 by the parents and principal of Middle School 141 in the Bronx. Our primary mission remains the same today as it was then – “To provide within the community cultural, recreational, and developmental activities and entertainment, instruction, athletics, sport and other wholesome activities for children of all ages as well as for adults, under adequate supervision and guidance in order to aide and maintain the physical and mental health of the people in the community, as a basis and preventative means of combating delinquency and as a means of bringing people together under proper supervision in appropriate surroundings.â€
