I am the owner

I have been a licensed daycare provider for 45 years I have four great kids and I have Six wonderful grandchildren I have been living in Damascus for 33 years My first aid kit The battery needed replaced in the thermometer A thermometer that I have never used and the potential hazardous items that they’re saying was assessable to the children in my care are my spices that are in my roundabout in my kitchen my day care children never play in my kitchen I have had my spices in that cabinet for 33 years never have I had a caseworker asked me to remove the spices From my cabinet Wasn’t aware spices are hazardous to children and never has a child opened one of my cabinets in my kitchen disappointed on the way this was worded they are making it sound like it was a chemical that my children had access to So I guess the next time we make muffins with cinnamon and I cannot use cinnamon because according to my caseworker cinnamon is hazardous to children And the caseworker also stated all health related documentation required was not present for each child there was one child who needed to update his shot record The parents forgot to give me the updated shot record after they went to the doctors and the emergency information was update for each child And I do keep attendance for each child I write down the time they arrive at my home and the time they leave my home I also have a sign in & out sheet as you enter my daycare parents are responsible for signing in and out sign in sheet I have six more hours on training to obtain totally slipped my mind and yes I did complete my hours I do not know what program they’re talking about that is required that has to be documented and recorded and maintained for at least two years The activity space that was a potential dangerous to a child’s health and safety was a toy that the handle had broke my husband fixed the toy the toy was sitting aside so the children could not play with the toy it broke the day before she came out for the inspection if anyone has any questions you’re more than welcome to call me I have outstanding references I’ve been taking care of children for 45 years and I’ve taken care of children in the Damascus area and now I am taking care of their children ????
