I have used this provider for less than 6 months

When my baby was 9 months at end of the day, there was a toddler in the infant room with the babies. The toddler was playing with my baby and the teacher was cleaning up not paying attention and the toddler bit my 9 month in the face. On top of that they did not call my baby's dad or myself. Near end of our time there few months in roll where my baby didn't gain any weight and they had a lot of babies and not enough full time stabilized staff. I took my daughter to urgent care to get record from a doctor. Lucky her skin wasn't punctured. I filed a complaint to the state but didn't hear anything back on the outcome. There's more but I won't go on. We did get kicked out because my baby's dad went of the deep end about my baby getting bit in the face. Sounds like earlier in the year they had a toddler biting in a complaint filed. So they should of kept those kids out of the baby room. I don't care about letting staff go at end of the night I pay full price without govt. assistance. The week-being of my kid is most important.

About the Provider

It is not an average mission to provide the best child development on the planet but then New Horizon Academy is not an average company. New Horizon Academy is an exceptional company grown out of the commitment to children and families that Sue Dunkley our founder made in 1971 when she opened her first child care program. Sue's ongoing belief is that there is nothing more important than the self-esteem of every child.
