The Naugatuck Day Care Center was established in 1975. The non-profit agency, run by a Board of Directors, provides year round care for children 3 to 5 years old.
The program at the Naugatuck Day Care Center provides developmentally appropriate experiences to benefit the whole child. Opportunities for social, emotional and physical growth are ongoing throughout the day.
The program sponsors the Child and Adult Care Food Program providing Breakfast, Lunch and Afternoon snack for all children. As a Delegate Agency sponsored by the town, the Naugatuck Day Care Center is funded in part by the town through the State Department of Education and tuition paid by the parents.
