There is no documentation on file that staff hired 3/18/24 and 4/2/24 reviewed the center’s SBS/AHT policy prior to caring for children.

Effective measures shall be taken to keep uncontained insects, rodents, and other vermin out of the child care centers and to prevent their breeding or presence on the premises. Traps shall only be placed in areas inaccessible to children. It was reported, during interviews, that there is a problem with uncontained insects and effective measures have not been taken and several dead insects observed. This is a violation of requirement 15A NCAC 18A .2831(b).
