Findings: During complaint investigation , LS was informed that the parent did not receive an incident report. Upon pick child's parent notice a bruise on child's forehead. Parent went inside of the facility and spoke with the receptionist, the receptionist told the Parent that the receptionist was not aware of the injury. Parent left the facility.

Findings: During investigation , LS was informed that the child who sustained bruises on forehead was playing around with three other students. After which the staff member placed his knee on the 10 year old boy's chest and plucked his forehead. Staff is to use appropriate discipline at all times.

Findings: Complaint investigation was conducted on this date. Complaint alleged that on April 9, 2026, Park Police officers were dispatched to Central Area Offices in reference to an assault of a child by a former Commission Employee that occurred at the Largo Kettering Community Center. It was reported that the employee held the child down and flicked him several times on the forehead. LS was informed that staff member had his knee on a 10 year old boy's chest. Staff member also plucked the boy on his forehead. Additionally, LS received another complaint that on April 28, 2026, staff observed a child banging his head against the wall. According to staff the child did not sustain injuries and does it when he gets upset. Children are to be kept safe at all times.
