About the Provider

The educational philosophy of ILCDC is based on a Christ-centered view that all truth is God’s truth
and that the Bible is the inspired and the only inf
allible authoritative Word of God. God created all
things and sustains all things. Therefore, the uni
verse and man are dynamically related to God and
have the purpose of glorifying Him. Because man is a sinner by nature, he cannot, however, glorify
or know God on his own. He can do this only by rec
eiving God’s free gift of salvation through His
Son, Jesus Christ.
The social aspect of our program is to provide a Ch
ristian perspective on the total world view from
which will come from a balanced personality and a proper understanding and acceptance of a person’s role in life, all based in the Christian concept of Love.
Our responsibility is to provide spiritual, mental,
intellectual, physical, social, and emotional
experiences for the children in our care. These ab
ove mentioned items are inseparable and through
them runs the insistent thread of spirituality. Th
erefore, we teach the Bible with all of these thing
s in mind- the scarlet thread must be woven throughout our teachings. Therefore, all aspects of the program must allow the spirituality of the Bible to permeate all areas or we become text oriented instead of having the child ’s best interests at heart.
