| Findings: LS conducted a complaint investigation on today's date. Provider admitted to tapping the hands of both children in care. LS inquired about both incidents. Provider informed parent that she had tapped one child on the hands because the child had grabbed another child's hand off of a manipulative toy, which caused the child to lose her balance and fall. Provider informed LS that she had told the child We Do Not Do That. During a separate incident, the child's younger sibling's hands were also tapped by the provider for constantly pulling her hair. Provider stated that she had informed the parent of the tapping, and the parent gave the provider socks to cover the child's hands. Parent informed provider not to tap the child's hands, and to use the socks instead. | |||
