Description: Good Shepherd Preschool operates with a LOC through the Maryland State Department of Education. We are licensed to care for a daily total of 64 children, ages 2-13. As a mission of HUMC, it is our purpose to serve working families by caring for children in a loving and Christian atmosphere. We strive to provide a learning experience that is creative, nurturing, structured, and reflective for children of their great worth to God. Children will learn how to share, take turns, use manners and show respect for themselves and others. Kindergarten readiness is also a focus of our program. Grace is said before every meal, prayer and the pledge of allegiance are part of our daily routine. Weekly visits with the church pastor are a scheduled part of our routine. Bible stories are read and discussed the same as any other children’s book.
