About the Provider

Children's College is the first and only preschool and kindergarten in Slidell, Louisiana which is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and is rated 4 stars by the Quality Start Child Care Rating System of Louisiana. Our preschool is Class A state licensed and has been serving the needs of the greater Slidell area since 1984. Our motto, "Learn to Grow" in Swahili "Usome Kukuwa", encapsulates our unique form of international education through the study of phonics, mathematics, self-esteem, geography, and Swahili among many subjects taught through various innovative pedagogies throughout the programme. Our aim is to balance the academic development of your child with social and emotional development through an international focus. Additionally, we offer tutoring services for grades 1-8 and language training for adults in Swahili and Gujarati.
