About the Provider

Description:

Here at the CCL we have a very warm, loving & caring staff. We are all very family-oriented and take a lot of pride in what we do here with the children. We have plenty of windows, so it's very bright and airy, but most of all, we are not only a daycare center, but an educational facility!!! We were just received a 4 Star Rating out of 5  through Grow NJ Kids, a State rating program.

Additional Information:

We are a daycare center and we run a full day preschool/kindergarten program with the Highscope Curriculum. We just completed two years with the State of NJ in the Grown NJ Kids rating program and recieved a 4 star out of 5. We are only the second school in MIddlesex County to receive a 4 star and above. We are a family owned business and take pride in what we do. Each child in our program we treat as if they were one of our own. We have been in business for over 11.5 years. Most of our staff members have their CDA License or have their 4 year degree. Please call for a walk through and see for yourself.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

My grandson attended the Children's Center since he was only 6 months old. The staff here are amazing and very hard working. My grandson received a great education from this school and had so much fun. He attends their summer camp every year and he honestly hates to leave to early when I pick him up. This really is a great school for all ages. It is not run by a corporation, you will always see Lisa here, the owner, who cares about each and every one of these kids as if they were her own. Great facility if you are looking for childcare.

I am an employee

I am been an employee at this school for nine years. Throughout my nine years at this school I have seen my owner help parents out continuously. There has been many times when parents have run into financial hardships and the owner has worked with them. It is a very unfair assessment to say she only cares about money. The truth is she attempts to charge the lowest possible fee to assure that struggling families can afford QUALITY childcare while they work. She is attempting to run a business and when people think they can make their own policies and rules it makes it hard for her to do that. I have seen this woman buy children in her school clothes and shoes because they didn't have. This is a women who donates Christmas gifts to at least 5 needy families during Christmas time. This is a woman who would give you the shirt off her back if she could. It really is disgusting to me that someone who obviously doesn't know the owner would attempt to paint such a ugly and very untrue picture of who this woman really is.

This school should be shut down. Owner's treat parents like scum. They only care about money. Owner's are very nasty and cold hearted people. I never missed a payment n had a complaint which was meet by saying to me to find another school. Please read and DO NOT send your children to this place.

I completely agree with the previous review. It's sad that it's dated over two years ago and things still haven't changed! The disregard for parent feedback is incredible. Yes, the kids are learning, but by a militaristic attitude. Children need to enjoy their childhood and not worry about schedules and not finishing your lunch/snack because they didn't have enough time! I would rather they take extra time with meals then to let a child go the day without finishing their food. This is just one issue of many! If you are thinking of sending your child here, please proceed with caution and have a back up plan just in case!

This school shouldn't even be able to get ratings.  All the care about is collecting their money.  They don't respect the parents and also when you do complain or voice your opinion they down grade you by saying your a bad parent.  Will never ever recommend this school to any of my friends or family.
