At first, I had a great experience with this daycare. My child seemed to enjoy coming in everyday and learned shapes and colors very quickly. However, things to a turn for the worst.
I was walking to the daycare and noticed that the provider Miss N left my child (who is only 2 years old) inside the daycare in the basement while she was checking her mailbox outside (which happens to be a flight up on the first floor) and gossiping one of her assistants, Miss D, which happens to be her sister.
I rushed inside the basement to check on my child, who has so upset and begging the staff to read a book, and quickly realized there was no adult supervising them. I didn’t receive an apology or anything. In fact, as soon as the provider came downstairs she complained about her knee bothering her all day. Yet, it didn’t bother her enough to be able to check her mail, right?
It doesn’t take 2 people to check a mailbox, and it’s illegal to leave any child unattended for any amount of time. The fact that they were comfortable enough to leave my child alone showed me that they’ve probably done this countless times. I would never suggest this daycare to anyone.
The staff treats the children as their own. the school setting and teaching in this daycare by the staff is as if the children are in school. I love the set up and warm greeting that is given by the staff.
