Description: The vision of Casa di Mir began at the 1988 Kindergarten Thanksgiving celebration at Casa Maria Preschool. Casa Maria which closed in 1999 was a well loved Montessori preschool in Los Gatos that closed its doors after 29 years of operation. A committee of interested parents and friends formed to create an elementary program to continue the nurturing of their childrens love of learning in a multi-cultural Montessori environment with a strong sense of community.
