Thie facility was used for about 8 months starting out to be nice. As time moved forward there were excuses given to have my grand picked up due to either a runny nose, cough, fever, or diarrhea. Once my grand was picked up, the issues she claimed my grand had was not present. She was made aware of my grand's allergies . I would then get call a few days later of her complaining of my grand coughing and needed to be picked up. She was again informed that the coughing and the running nose was a part of my grand's allergies and was not contagious. We were informed that the child could not return until seen by a doctor. It almost seemed to be an every week thing of having to pick up my grand. It turned from illnesses to my grand being disruptive by hitting other children. I know children can do things like that and I won't say that my grand would never do such things, but I began to wonder if the things my grand was being accused of was true. Ms B even accused him of being a bully, at 2 years of age.
There were times that postings were on the door a few days prior that the facility would be closed and it wasn't a holiday. There was also a time that I came to drop of my grand and couldn't stay because she was over her quota of children in the 2 yr age group. I was really upset about that and had to find other daycare for that day. In order for the grand to attend was to get there early. A few days later there was a posting on the door pertaining to an investigation.
I finally come to the conclusion that the actions taken by Ms. B were used to get rid of my grand. The final outcome was a confrontation between Ms. B and the mother, which led to the child being kicked out. I was very disappointed and angry with how things were handled by the owner. She was very abrasive and did not know how to talk to people. Although her husband, who worked there also, was very nice, peaceful person and willing to work with you, Ms. B didn't seem to listen and grasp the instructions given to her pertaining to the situations that arose. I think my grand being kicked out was the best thing.
Ms Brenda Williams is a terrible daycare provider. I would not recommend her school to anyone.
This provider is terrible refused to pick up my children from school then just stop watching my kids all in general when I ask why she didn't pick up my kids I am a single parent this caused me to lose my job and now I am fighting the state for my kids because if u become homeless in Nc cps takes ur kids I filed a lawsuit and a total of 4 complaints 2 with attorney general and 2 with division of child development I do not recommend this place to no one
