| Findings: At the time of the inspection, a child (age 4) was in an unapproved bedroom sitting on the floor with minimal light. It was believed this child was placed in this room because the provider requested that this inspection take place another day since they were in the process of renovating their kitchen. Regarding this situation, even though the provider may have known where the child was, there was still risk for this child being allowed to be in an unapproved room. The child could have wandered in the room and found items that were potentially hazardous, toxic or dangerous. The child was out of sight at the time that the Licensing Specialist was talking to the provider and approved substitute at the beginning of the inspection. At no time should a child occupy space that is not approved by the Office of Child Care and the Fire Marshal's Office. Once the child was retrieved from the room, the child was brought into the living room.
