Licensed Educator in Whittier, Ca. 90604 (will also serve La Mirada and Norwalk area) Provider has 25 years experience, a Masters degree in Child Development a BA and an AS degree in Early Childhood Education and a Program Director permit. Space is available in my home for 2 infants (0-2 yrs), 1 preschool (3-5) and 1 school aged child (5-10 years). Using the developmentally appropriate research based curriculum High/Scope that focuses on child initiated and teacher directed activities based on the individual needs of your child. After school pick up available for Whittier and La Mirada schools. Non traditional hours, Saturday Care, Summer school aged care and drop in babysitting is also available. Educational program is Monday-Friday 7:30-5:30 PM. Hourly rates are available for extended care Monday thru Saturday. The High quality education focuses on health, physical development, communication, math, science, literacy, art, dramatic play, language development and social emotional development. Yoga for children will help them to learn spatial awareness, self regulation, and improve fine and gross motor skills. Meals and snacks included. The overall goal is to prepare children for school readiness and future school success in a Warm Caring home-like environment that puts social and emotional development at the heart of the program. Great educational program
I like the flexibility in hours and I know my children are gaining and improving since being in the Program. My childrens grades are improving at school. Grades are up and I can count on Cindy to work with my child on homework each and everyday.
