It is a pleasure to be the first to write a review for Short Stuff & Co., Inc. My first child has attended there since 2007 and now my baby is also enrolled. The first thing you will notice as you approach the building is how lovely the setting is. Pretty landscaping, well kept grounds. Upon entering the building, the lobby area is bright and cheerful. At the office window, the director makes and hangs different curtains every few weeks. The children enjoy watching for the new and fun curtain patterns! The attention to details are incredible. The staff have almost all been there since we started. They are mature, dedicated, creative individuals who are well educated and degreed. Any issues that arise, no matter how small, are handled immediately. You can pop in unannounced without feeling like teachers are scrambling to hide anything. The building is as clean as you would hope it would be. Perhaps cleaner! It has never, in all the years we've been enrolled, smelled like pee or soiled diapers. Every staff member knows every child and every family. They are licsensed by the Department of Ed and belong to Keystone STARS. After just a short time, they are already at STAR 2. The preschool, pre-k and kindergarten curriculums are incredible. My child went to first grade being far and away more advanced than her classmates who attended Methacton's kindergarten. My goodness.....I don't normally go on and on like this. Obviously I have strong feelings about this center. Do yourself and your children a favor and go see this center. Call Beth, the director. She's not like the cookie cutter directors at the cookie cutter centers. Your choice will be as simple as ours was in 2007....and still is today!
