(First red flag) I called to set up a tour and a woman who later stated she is the director answered with a very aggressive "hello". I had to back peddle and make sure I was calling a daycare. We scheduled for 11am today because it really may have been a mistake the way the call was answered. (Second red flag) my kids AMD I walk up to the door and ring the doorbell. Nothing. I check the door and its unlocked. I'm like the next door MUST be locked then right or anyone could just walk inside or a child outside. Second door unlocked as well.
(Third red flag) I stood in the entrance for approximately 5 minutes before a lady came from a closed door towards the end of a hall and asked if I needed help. I said I was there for a scheduled tour. She closed the door. Came back and said the lady was on her way. At this point my tour is in 3 minutes and she isn't even here?
(Fourth red flag) we waited alone for a long time. Well after our appointment to tour. I scoped out the scene. Things were very bare, there was a head lice notification about a current case in the center. My kids kept bringing me broken toys. Still no one came. So at 11:05, we left. No one there to even know we left. I sat in my car for about 10 minutes just to see if anyone would pull up. Nobody.
I strongly suggest not sending your kids here. Unprofessional, unkempt, and not secure at all.
