Initially seemed like a nice daycare with nice teachers until I came to pick my daughter up early without calling. I was on the other side of the wall getting my daughters belonging together and I heard a teacher, Michelle, name calling a 4 or 5 year old boy who was in the class. Then she told the kids ‘not to talk to her unless it was an emergency.’ I may be wrong, but considering it’s a daycare, any child should be able to talk to their teacher whether or not it’s an emergency. When I proceeded to walk further into the classroom to get my 4 year old daughter, her teacher she stood over us as we sat at the table and yell at my daughter, in front of me! And not normal discipline. This women spoke to the boy in the class and my daughter in the most hatful, disrespectful way. She was obviously having a bad day, but when called to the front office and given the chance to apologize for the ridiculous way she handled herself she denied everything and was completely rude, Jenny, one of the supervisors had to ask her to be professional! I trusted this women with my daughter for 8 hours a day and this is the way she speaks to her and other children when I’m standing right there, I can only imagine how my child and other have been treated by this women. I’m upset and hurt that I allowed this woman around my daughter unsupervised . Everyone there seemed so nice, it’s such a shame that one bad apple can give a facility a bad name. Other teachers seem genuinely nice and caring, although I thought the same in regards to my daughters teacher. It goes to show that you never know what’s going on when you’re not around. If you use this daycare I urge you to be highly vigilant. No child deserves to be treated the way Michelle was treating them when I walked in.
This daycare is the BEST. If I could rate them higher I would. All of the staff is amazing! Each teacher knows all of the kiddos, not just their classroom. I know my kids are safe and in good hands when I drop them off. My kiddos love it here! There is nothing I would change about this daycare. It’s safe, clean and the staff is great. Keep up the great work Willowcreek!
If I could give Willow Creek Learning 10 stars I would.
