I worked here last year. WORST daycare facility I have ever worked at. There was no curriculum. THE owner wouldn't even provide me with supplies and I was routinely put in a room to watch 4-5 babies,6-7 toddlers and 7-8 pre-k kids in the morning. Parents weren't informed when kids would contract scabies hand mouth and foot disease, stomach viruses-causing diarrhea, teachers were instructed to lie to the state nurse about outbreaks of any kind. THE kids were fed fish with bones, spoiled food from the owner's catering business, rewashed and reused plastic spoons, ants crawling on the kids as they napped due to an Ant infestation that the owner did NOT take care of until almost 1 month later. THERE was an autistic child in the pre-k room who the (then)teacher as well as the asst.director would laugh at his outburst in his face while the other kids watched. I quit and came back only to quit again. I believd me being there was reassurance of the kids safety but there was too much wrong with the way both locations were ran; The owner was also claiming kids who no longer attended the facility to the state for payment. I could no longer work at a facility like hers in good concious. And yes I reported her to Cook and Will county DHS office.
