What an amazing place! You can drop your kids off and know that they're not just being watched. They're learning so much! In a nutshell, this is not your average day care. Within a month, my children came home, speaking full sentences and were more vocal with whatever they needed. I have a 2 year old twins and they loving coming here. We're do glad that we found this day care. Great neighborhood and such caring and respectful workers.
I worked with Ms Gladys for some years and I can say that she is a very kind person who puts others before herself...too nice if you ask me. I am not sure who is writing these bad reviews but knowing the setting and operation of the daycare, the story doesn't add up. I have seen Ms Gladys welcome some of her clients who became homeless into her home. The only thing I can think of is that she must have tried to say no to someone and they turned against her. She really doesn't deserve this because I have worked in other daycares and Ms Gladys is not all about money but helping people.
Provider stop using signed in and out sheets, the does allow any parents to pass front door to pick up children, my child was returned to me with a full diaper and mucus on their face.
May children had a stomach virus and wasn't not getting alot of water to drink. my child was taught to hit themselve to punish for doing something wrong. The provider allows the children to jump and stand on furniture.
Please beware. This provider hit children. My children have come home and told me on two different occasions that the owner Ms Gladys has put her hands on my kids. She should not be in business since she can not keep her hands off other people children.
It is obvious that the caretakers at this daycare know a lot about taking care of kids. MY child has been attending for over 6 months and i have noticed tremendous positive changes in him. He comes home spewing out what he has learnt such as his ABC's and 123s and various nursery rhymes. MY older daughter who is 7 years old, also has nothing but positive things to say about where she spends most of her time. She loves the food, she loves her new friends and she loves how the caretakers engage with her also.
The caretakers force the children to sleep in a cold air conditioner room with no blankets. My children said that they shivered all night and were ignored when they asked for blanket. It was summer time and I sent them wearing sleeveless tank tops and it breaks my heart knowing they were cold.
