Description: Shalom Day Care provides a warm accepting environment where the children may grow at their own pace, develop their own identity and experience relationships with both children and adults. Since children learn best through repeated hands-on experiences, i.e. touching, seeing, smelling, tasting, exploring and experimenting , our goal is to provide this multi-sensory environment for them by integrating mathematics, science, language, arts and social studies into their daily play activities. Every attempt is made to know the children as individuals. We use observation and interaction to assess their needs and plan for their growth within the program. Our educational and emotional goals are to aid children in developing a positive self-image, self-discipline and confidence. This is done by providing them with opportunities for success and personal achievement. Our classroom environment will help develop the child's sense of order, responsibility, self-motivation, creativity and curiosity, which are prerequisites for a successful and happy life.

Two words. Rat problem.
Also, as Brent said back in 2015, they max out class size, overwhelming teachers and creating chaotic environments. also Tend to delete negative reviews.
Poorly run warehouse for kids - class sizes maxed out under NYS law and teachers are generally burned out as a result. Current Director is the equivalent of a slumlord only concerned about collecting the rent or in this case the tuition......much better places out there as we have found out by moving our child elsewhere.
