Description: North Country Academy's educational curriculum has been designed based on the following concepts: We believe that young children will learn best when the curriculum and activities are developmentally appropriate. This means that the learning activities planned for the children are matched with their biological and developmental age, their individual abilities and interests. We believe that young children learn best when they are involved in real-life experiences. Children learn by doing for themselves and this can be accomplished by involving children in daily activities utilizing a rich array of concrete objects and opportunities. We believe that children learn best when there is a bond between home and school. The child senses satisfaction and security when there is a confident, friendly, working relationship between parents and the school. We believe the most valuable lesson a child can learn during their early years is that school is fun, interesting and rewarding. Therefore, every aspect of our day is planned to encourage each child to experience success, to develop a positive self-image and to help each one develop the social, emotional, physical, creative and intellectual aspects of their personalities.

| Brief Description: The written medical statement from the health care provider must also state whether the child is a child with special health care needs and, if so, what special provisions, if any, will be necessary in order for the child to participate in child day care. When the written statement from the health care provider advises the day care program that the child being enrolled is a child with special health care needs, the day care program must work together with the parent and the child's health care provider to develop a reasonable health care plan for the child while the child is in the child day care program. The health care plan for the child must also address how the day care program will obtain or develop any additional competencies that the staff will need to have in order to carry out the health care plan for the child. | |||

Scummy facility as well as staff! Children are treated poorly and tuition goes up every year. They provide nothing at all and for $1000 a month I pulled my kid out! Best decision I ever made!
