Description: At the Harrison Learning Center, our goal is to prepare children for their future by: Supporting the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of all our children; Enabling children to follow simple directions such as when to sit and listen; Giving children concrete knowledge that will enable them to visualize concepts taught at school; Encouraging a love for music and books; Enabling each child to be self-confident and to have self respect; Helping children to verbalize needs and ideas; Teaching children to work out differences using language and to respect others' differences; Encouraging each child to experiment and to have the self-confidence to make mistakes. We believe that child care should be affordable and accessible to all who are in need of service, that children have a right to a safe and secure environment which fosters social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth and that parents have a right to choose their child care arrangements and that choice should be available.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

Awesome daycare. I as any other mother was very afraid of who to trust with my kids at first. But I couldn't have chosen a better daycare to trust for the the care of my boys. I had both of my kids in this daycare for about 3 years with no problems. Now one of my kids is in kindergarten and was completely ready for that next step thanks to Mrs. Nikki's help. I want to thank Mrs. Nikki personally for taking such good care of my kids, taking care of them like if they were her own. I definitely recommend this daycare to anyone your kids will be well taken care of.
My son went to this day care for 14 months. My son was very active for his age so we thought of putting him to this day care as we have heard good first hand reviews of this place. The first year was really awesome with my kid. Her teachers in waddler class were just awesome. They took very good care of my kid. The terrible/horrific/depressing starts when my son was moved to the toddler class. From the very onset, their approach to 3 year old kids entering their class was to be too strict with them. They would say that they are independent and need to do all their stuff by themselves. (So small kids need to do everything by themselves!!!!). I think the teacher thinks all the small kids should just be very disciplined and listen to them all the time. The one who doesn’t listen – TIE THEM TO THE CHAIR TO MAKE SURE THEY SIT AT ONE PLACE, GIVE THEM TIME OUTS FOR WHOLE DAY, FORCE FOOD INTO THEM IF THEY DON’T EAT, SHOUT AND YELL AT THEM.. yes all these were done at this center by these idiots... The result of above treatment was that my kid developed withdrawal symptoms, woke up at night scared and refused to sit on the chair and said “No tie, No tie”. So if you don’t want your kid to go through this pain, please make sure that you DO NOT go to this day care. Else, they would make sure that your kid doesn’t come out happy. I found this hard truth after my kid went through all this and I hope no other kid has to go through the same.
