Most recently have my boys attend this facility. I love how helpful some of the staff are and how loving some can also be towards my boys. Like in any other place, I believe they have their ups and down, good days and bad days. My boys have had incidents that I believe could have been prevented, but also most that happen even at home. They all try to do the best they can and know. I can’t fully complain but I can’t fully agree with the comments above. I will put the time my boys have been attending and know that my identity might be revealed to some of the readers (which it’s not harmful to me what so ever). My older 2 boys started attending for Preschool their 2yrs ago and I love love love their teachers. They worry even when I was unable to take them to school. They have great communication and also posted on the Dojo app pictures everyday. Now they attend for just daycare. I don’t fully agree in all as some teachers have strong attitudes and sometimes it may sound as the scold the children, but you must remember they are pretty much helping you raise your child. When they love our kids and want the best for them they can’t always by sweet. My youngest 2 have been going since the beginning of this yr 2020. On is in the baby room and the other in the 2 yr olds. Bumps and bruises, scratches and bites. It all happens even at home (at least for me). The owner is very respectful of all our thoughts and also respects each individuals belief. I just hope this helps someone out there that is looking for a realistic child care center. Yes they might not be 5 star but they love and care about our children very much.
I wanted to give a recent review since all these are older. Our infant has been going for 2 months now and we are very pleased. We were very impressed by the owners when we took our tour back in January. As first time parents we were a little overwhelmed with looking for a daycare but they answered all our questions and made us feel welcomed. The owners are wonderful, the providers in my daughters room are amazing. She is always happy at drop off in the morning. They are working on some improvements on the building right now to spruce it up. We have been very happy and recommend Children's Ark highly.
Stay away from this center at all costs! My son attended, and not only was he sick all the time(more than the usual day are sick),the teachers were not attentive or nurturing either.
My child attends Children's Ark. He is currently 11 months old and has been there since he was 4 months old. During this time I have been pleased with the attention my child is given. I find that this day care does a good job on balancing learning and playing. My experience has been most of the care givers are loving and attentive.
Please keep your children out of this center. It is not safe.Go with your instinct bc I should have and the terrible thing that happened to my daughter could have been prevented. They threw up red flags and I should have known it was not a good place. They are advertising on craigslist that they are a 5 star but believe me they are far from that. They have poor supervision and anyone would be able to walk in.A poor child was going to the bathroom and its by the front door and she did not know to keep the door shut and the so called teacher did not shut the door.I walked up and told the little girl I was going to push it to and not all the way bc I didnt want everyone to look at her.Just please take my advice and run as far away from this center as you can.
