I am Ilene McVey and I am writing in response to this review. 1. My home being hot, the individual in question visited my home late in the afternoon when I was not providing care for other children and I had been canning vegetables, that is why my home was hot. 2. The child in the backyard was my grandson and he regularly plays outside by himself. My play area outside is surrounded by a wooden privacy fence and gates that even adults sometimes have a rough time opening. 3. Yes, there was a tote in the toy room that was cracked, it had happened that day, and I had not had time to clean up the toy room yet that day. 3. As far as my home not being suitable for children under 24 months, at the time in question, I was not providing care for any infants or toddlers, so I saw no need to have baby and toddler(play pens, highchairs, toddler toys, changing tables, etc.) setting about taking up room. If anyone is interested in child care, I would be more than happy to provide numerous references, past and present
She is alright with younger children, however her home is not suitable for children under 24 months. Her home was air conditioned, but it was still very hot. Not to mention when I went to her home to pick up my child there was a young boy in the back yard by himself. In the playroom there was a plastic tote being used as a toy box but it was broken down the middle. My child could of easily fell and cut herself or chewed off some of the plastic.
